Orson Go, M.D. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy graduating cum laude at the University of the Philippines and Doctor of Medicine degree graduating magna cum laude at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
Prior to medical residency training, he briefly lectured Pharmaceutical Biochemistry at the University of the Philippines – College of Pharmacy. He then proceeded with medical residency and subspecialty training in Cardiovascular Disease at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
He is is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Cardiac CT and Nuclear Cardiology and is a clinical specialist in the treatment of hypertension. He has been inducted as a member of the honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi and the Alpha Omega Alpha.
He treats the full spectrum of cardiovascular diseases and has special interest in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiovascular disease prevention and cardiac rehabilitation and heart rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation.
He believes in evidence-based medicine and endeavors to abide by the scientific guidelines of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology as appropriately applicable to individual clinical situations. Equally, he provides the patient options and engages them in developing a diagnostic and treatment plan.
He has been an attending cardiologist since 2012 and practiced in Virginia before joining Roseville Cardiology Medical Associates in 2016. He has been awarded Preceptor of the Year, a student-selected award for teaching medical residents in 2015. He has served as president of the medical staff of the local community hospital in 2015-2016. He is a recipient of the Sutter Independent Physicians President’s Award for both quality and patient care in 2019.
He enjoys swimming, travelling, photography and spending time with family.
